We accept most vision insurance and medical insurance plans. Advantage Eye Care are providers for Medicare, Kentucky Medicaid, VSP Vision Service Plan, Avesis, Davis Vision, Block Vision, Anthem, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, TRICARE and more.
Our billing department will be happy to file your insurance. Some insurance companies have an exam co-pay and/or a materials co-pay due at time of service. Most vision insurance companies will help offset the price of glasses or contact lenses. It is very rare that a vision insurance company will help cover both glasses and contacts. Your vision insurance company may cover a comprehensive eye examination every year or every other year. They may help cover optical frames and or lenses every year or every other year. You may call your insurance provider for more details, or you may ask one of our frame stylists when you check in or ordering your new look.
Your regular medical insurance can be billed when you have a medical issue that concerns your eyes. Your regular medical insurance will help cover exams and services concerning problems with a red eye, dry eye, foreign body removal, diabetes, glaucoma, systemic hypertension and more.
